Dionne Haynes-Brown

 Founder

The Antwan Dominique Reese Foundation, is named  after my son Antwan.

This organization was formed to assist the  caregiver with  accomplishing  the NECESSARY
3 R’s  of  Life T M : REST, REJUVENATE  & RENEW.

AS A MOTHER OF A SPECIAL NEEDS ADULT, I can tell you first hand what it’s like when you are unable to get the needed rest that prepares you for the NEXT DAY of  care.  As with everything else, your body needs to rejuvenate, may it be mentally  or  physically.

IN THE YEAR 1994 - My  son Antwan was born 1lb. 2oz. - he has a diagnoses  of cerebral palsy, autism  and  developmental delay. He is unable to speak in  full sentences, but is able to communicate with the use of sign language. Antwan  requires assistance bathing, preparing his meals and  there are times when he  is unable to clean himself properly  after  toileting.

MANY disabled individuals just  like my son  Antwan  REQUIRE 24 HOUR  SUPERVISED CARE.

As a caregiver, YOU need a break

to rejuvenate the mind, body and spirit.

This BREAK also known as RESPITE

could be the difference between

the caregiver smiling or crying.

THE CAREGIVERS RESPONSIBILITY

DOES NOT STOP

BECAUSE THE CHILD WITH A DISABILITY BECOMES AN ADULT.

THE DISABILITY &

THE NEED IS STILL THERE !

Thank You In Advance For Your Support!
